Ingredients

  • 12 sheets of puff pastry (vegan and gluten-free)
  • 130g of dairy-free cream cheese
  • 15g of gluten-free/plain flour
  • 15g of caster sugar + extra for sprinkling
  • 4 tablespoons of dairy-free milk
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 10cm x 10cm squares.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend dairy-free cream cheese, gluten-free flour, caster sugar, and dairy-free milk until smooth.
  4. Dollop a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square and top with sliced strawberries.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to create a pouch. Brush the tops with dairy-free milk.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with extra sugar, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
