- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Whisk together all dry ingredients in large bowl
- Mix vegetable broth, tomato paste, oil, soy sauce, and liquid smoke in separate bowl
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until dough forms
- Knead dough for 2-3 minutes until elastic
- Shape into 4-inch diameter log
- Wrap tightly in parchment paper and aluminum foil
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until firm
- Cool for 15 minutes before unwrapping and slicing

- For steaming method: steam wrapped salami for 40-45 minutes
- Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for 2-3 months
