Description
Delicious homemade vegan pizza rolls filled with sautéed onions, fresh spinach, and marinara sauce. A perfect snack for any occasion!

- 1 package of vegan pizza dough
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- On a floured surface, roll out the vegan pizza dough into a rectangle. Cut it into smaller rectangles (around 4×4 inches).
- Place a spoonful of the spinach and onion mixture on each rectangle. Add a dollop of marinara sauce and sprinkle on vegan cheese if desired. Roll them up tightly.
- Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Serve warm alongside extra marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a crispier texture, brush the rolls with olive oil before baking. These rolls can be frozen and baked directly from the freezer.
