Description

Delicious homemade vegan pizza rolls filled with sautéed onions, fresh spinach, and marinara sauce. A perfect snack for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 package of vegan pizza dough
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out the vegan pizza dough into a rectangle. Cut it into smaller rectangles (around 4×4 inches).
  4. Place a spoonful of the spinach and onion mixture on each rectangle. Add a dollop of marinara sauce and sprinkle on vegan cheese if desired. Roll them up tightly.
  5. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Serve warm alongside extra marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a crispier texture, brush the rolls with olive oil before baking. These rolls can be frozen and baked directly from the freezer.
