- 1 1/2 Cups Non-Dairy Milk
- 2 tsp Instant Yeast
- 6 Tbsp Melted Non-Dairy Butter
- 3 1/2–4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 3 Tbsp Non-Dairy Butter, softened
- 1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Agave Nectar
- 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar, sifted
- 1/4 Cup Non-Dairy Milk
Instructions
- Warm the Non-Dairy Milk in the microwave until slightly warm.
- Stir in the instant yeast into the warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Add melted non-dairy butter, 3 1/2 cups of flour, and salt; mix until a rough dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
- In a small bowl, cream together softened non-dairy butter, sugar, agave nectar, and cinnamon until creamy.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the filling mixture over the rolled-out dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long end, slice into 1-inch thick rolls, and place in a greased baking dish.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Let the buns rise again for about 30 minutes while the oven preheats.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk the powdered sugar and non-dairy milk until smooth for the glaze.
- Pour the glaze over warm buns.
