Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Non-Dairy Milk
  • 2 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 6 Tbsp Melted Non-Dairy Butter
  • 3 1/24 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Non-Dairy Butter, softened
  • 1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Agave Nectar
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar, sifted
  • 1/4 Cup Non-Dairy Milk

Instructions

  1. Warm the Non-Dairy Milk in the microwave until slightly warm.
  2. Stir in the instant yeast into the warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  3. Add melted non-dairy butter, 3 1/2 cups of flour, and salt; mix until a rough dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
  6. In a small bowl, cream together softened non-dairy butter, sugar, agave nectar, and cinnamon until creamy.
  7. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  8. Spread the filling mixture over the rolled-out dough.
  9. Roll the dough tightly from the long end, slice into 1-inch thick rolls, and place in a greased baking dish.
  10. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  11. Let the buns rise again for about 30 minutes while the oven preheats.
  12. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  13. In a bowl, whisk the powdered sugar and non-dairy milk until smooth for the glaze.
  14. Pour the glaze over warm buns.
