  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the cooked chickpeas with the dairy-free yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, and cumin. Stir well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the marinated chickpeas and crushed tomatoes to the skillet. Stir everything together.
