- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- Vegan brownie batter for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan (9×9 inch works best).
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until no lumps remain, about 1-2 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine the maple syrup, melted coconut oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until fully blended.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined, about 2 minutes. The batter should be thick and glossy.
- Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and spread evenly. Use a spatula for a smooth surface.
- Top with extra vegan brownie batter for a crinkle effect.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature. You can prepare the batter a day in advance, cover it, and refrigerate.
