Ingredients

- 100 grams (1/2 cup) spelt berries
- 1 litre (4 cups) filtered water
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Soak the spelt berries in a bowl, covering them with water for at least 12 hours, up to 24 hours.
- Drain and rinse the soaked spelt under cool water.
- Blend the soaked spelt with 1 litre of filtered water and a pinch of sea salt until smooth.
- Strain the blended mixture using a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
- Store the Spelt Milk in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Use the leftover spelt pulp in other recipes to avoid waste.
Notes
For a creamier texture, blend longer and ensure the milk is stored in an airtight container.
