- 12 large mushrooms
- 1 cup Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup cooked spinach (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
- In a large bowl, combine the sausage, cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, spinach, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff the mushroom caps with the filling and mound slightly.
- Drizzle with olive oil, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until tender and golden on top.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
