Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup cooked spinach (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sausage, cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, spinach, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff the mushroom caps with the filling and mound slightly.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, until tender and golden on top.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
