- 1–2 dates, pitted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1/4 cup warm water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, add the pitted dates, milk, pinch of salt, and vanilla extract. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth and silky.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the matcha powder and warm water until there are no lumps.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour the blended matcha over the ice, followed by the date milk mixture.
- Enjoy your drink with a straw and stir if desired.
Notes
For a vegan version, opt for non-dairy milk and ensure your caramel is plant-based. Adjust sweetness as needed.
