Instructions

  1. Press and cube the tofu: Press the tofu for about 30 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Mix the sauce: Combine honey (or maple syrup), soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl and whisk together.
  3. Coat the tofu: Toss the cubed tofu with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  4. Heat the oil: In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry the tofu: Add coated tofu cubes to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, flipping until golden and crispy.
