Description

Crisp and fluffy waffles made with cottage cheese and oats, perfect for a healthy breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups old-fashioned or rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a blender, add banana, eggs, cottage cheese, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, oats, milk, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the preheated waffle maker, filling it about 3/4 full.
  4. Close the lid and cook according to your waffle maker’s instructions, approximately 4-5 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove waffles and serve with desired toppings.
