Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water + bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Using two forks, shred the chicken in the slow cooker, soaking it in the juices.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken for extra flavor and use frozen chicken with adjusted cooking time if desired.
