- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth or water + bouillon
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker in a single layer.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Using two forks, shred the chicken in the slow cooker, soaking it in the juices.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
Notes
Consider marinating the chicken for extra flavor and use frozen chicken with adjusted cooking time if desired.
