Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Preferred spices (cumin, red pepper flakes, thyme, etc.)
  • Sesame seeds for topping

Instructions

  1. Blend the chickpeas, cornstarch, water, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and spices in a blender until smooth, resembling a thick batter.
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and shape the mixture into fry-like forms.
  3. Generously sprinkle sesame seeds over each fry.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and bake the fries for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes
