- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 8 corn tortillas
- Lettuce or cabbage, shredded
- Diced tomatoes
- Avocado, sliced
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking. Prepare the cooking method for pan-frying or air-frying.
- In a mixing bowl, mash black beans slightly and mix in cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Take a warmed tortilla and spoon about 2 tablespoons of the black bean mixture in the center; fold gently.
- For baking, place tacos on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. For pan-frying, heat oil in a skillet and fry each taco for 3-4 minutes on each side. For air-frying, arrange tacos in the basket and cook for 10 minutes at 375°F (190°C), flipping halfway through.
- Remove tacos and dress with toppings of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado slices, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
