- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp chicken taco seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 10–12 small flour or corn tortillas
- Cooking spray
- Cilantro Lime Crema (for serving, optional)
- Minced cilantro (to serve, optional)
- Sliced jalapeño (to serve, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange your tortillas in a single layer on a large baking sheet, lightly spray both sides with cooking spray, and set aside.
- Cook the ground chicken with the taco seasoning in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Assemble the tacos by spooning cooked chicken onto each tortilla and sprinkling with cheese.
- Fold the tacos gently and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, then flip each taco and bake for an additional 5 minutes until crispy.
- Serve with your favorite toppings such as cilantro lime crema, minced cilantro, or jalapeños.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
