A unique and comforting pasta dish that blends Italian flavors with Korean Gochujang for an unforgettable dining experience.
Ingredients

- ¾ lb. dry spaghetti (or your favorite pasta shape)
- 1½ tbsp olive oil (extra virgin for richness)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 3 tbsp Gochujang chili paste (adjust to taste)
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
- Red chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water, add spaghetti, and cook al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large saucepan, warm olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add minced garlic to the saucepan and sauté until fragrant (about 20 seconds). Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in Gochujang paste, blending it with the garlic, then add ½ cup of reserved pasta water.
- Pour in heavy cream and add grated Parmesan. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Adjust sauce consistency with more reserved pasta water if needed.
- Serve in bowls, garnished with red pepper flakes, Parmesan, and parsley.
Notes
You can prep the sauce in advance and reheat it. Leftovers are good for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
