- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 8 small tortillas
- Cooking spray or oil
- Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Mix until well combined.
- Place a few tablespoons of the filling onto each tortilla and roll them tightly.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the taquitos seam-side down. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or brush with oil.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. For a crispier finish, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Serve warm with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream on the side.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze assembled, unbaked taquitos for up to 2 months.
