Ingredients

- 15 egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup chopped imitation crab
- 1 and 1/2 blocks of softened cream cheese (375g)
- 2 sliced green onions
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Neutral oil for frying
- Sweet chili sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Prepare your filling: chop imitation crab and green onions. Mix with cream cheese, sesame oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape and spoon 1-2 tablespoons of filling onto the center. Fold the edges and roll tightly, using water to seal.
- Heat neutral oil in a pan over medium heat until ready for frying.
- Fry the egg rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with salt, and serve hot with sweet chili sauce.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. Store un-fried rolls in the fridge or freeze for later.
