Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cardamom.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the orange zest and juice.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients and yogurt into the wet mixture, alternating between dry and wet until just combined.
  7. Fold in the pistachios, reserving a few for the top.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45–55 minutes.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Optional: Drizzle with orange glaze or dust with powdered sugar before serving.
