Description

A delightful Asian-inspired dish featuring flaky salmon fillets glazed with a creamy, spicy-sweet sauce that’s quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat each salmon fillet dry with paper towels.
  2. Generously season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Warm a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  4. Place salmon in the pan, skin-side down. Cook undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Gently flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked to your liking.
  6. Whisk together mayonnaise (or yogurt), sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice in a small bowl until smooth.
  7. Stir in half of the chopped green onions.
  8. Transfer salmon to plates and drizzle Bang Bang sauce over each fillet. Top with the remaining green onions.

Notes

Ensure the salmon is at room temperature before cooking for even results. For best flavor, use sustainably sourced salmon.
