- 2 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
- 2 cups red cabbage, finely shredded
- 2 radishes, julienned
- 1 carrot, peeled and julienned
- 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
- 1 inch fresh ginger, finely grated
- 1 clove garlic, finely grated
- 2 tablespoons mellow miso
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon tamari or coconut aminos
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil (optional)
- 3 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the ginger, garlic, miso, rice wine vinegar, tamari or coconut aminos, sesame oil (if using), and water until smooth.
- Prep the veggies: In a large bowl, toss together the shredded green cabbage, red cabbage, radishes, carrots, and black sesame seeds.
- Mix it together: Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well until everything is coated.
- Serve or store: You can serve this immediately or refrigerate for a softer texture.
Notes
For the best crunch, dress the salad right before serving. This salad can be made in advance; just keep the dressing separate until ready to serve.
