- 1 large egg, beaten

- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1 tbsp soy sauce or sesame oil for Asian flavor
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine cooked rice, beaten egg, Parmesan cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and place rice cakes in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with dipping sauce if desired.
Notes
- For crispier cakes, use day-old rice.
- Add herbs like parsley or cilantro for extra flavor.
- These can be made ahead and reheated in the air fryer.
- Serve with soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, or ranch for dipping.
