This quick and flavor-packed furikake salmon dish is easy to prepare and perfect for weeknight dinners, bringing the taste of Japan to your table in just 25 minutes.

- 1 ½ – 2 lbs fresh salmon fillet
- ¼ cup Kewpie mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon shoyu (soy sauce)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon wasabi paste
- ¼ cup furikake
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together Kewpie mayonnaise, shoyu, and wasabi paste (if using).
- Coat the salmon fillets with the mayonnaise mixture.
- Sprinkle furikake over the top of the salmon.
- Place the salmon in the oven or air fryer and bake or air fry for about 12-15 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with rice and veggies.
Notes
For best results, let the salmon come to room temperature before cooking. If using frozen salmon, ensure it’s fully thawed and patted dry before use.
