Delightful vegan treats combining creamy banana slices and almond butter, all wrapped in rich dark chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 12 Teaspoons Almond Butter or your favorite nut butter
  • 2 Cups Dark Chocolate Chips or chopped dark chocolate
  • Flaky Salt to Taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the banana into about 12 even slices, about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Top each banana slice with a thin layer of nut butter, about 1 teaspoon.
  3. Freeze the banana slices for about 10 minutes.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Prepare muffin tray with paper liners or silicone molds.
  6. Add about 1/2 tablespoon of melted chocolate to each liner.
  7. Place a banana slice topped with nut butter on top of the melted chocolate in each liner.
  8. Pour over remaining melted chocolate, covering the bananas with 1-2 tablespoons.
  9. Sprinkle flaky salt on top if desired.
  10. Freeze for about 30 minutes or refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
